For Immediate Release
GTMA (Global Traditional Martial Arts) to be official host of the Taekwondo Invitational at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio March 1-3, 2024.
In its first three years of existence, GTMA (Global Traditional Martial Arts) has become the fastest growing martial organization in history. Their meteoric rise is due in part to their world class events and partnerships outside the martial arts industry that create fantastic experiences for their licensees and members. Having just completed a weeklong international convention and tournament this past July for thousands of guests and competitors at the Gaylord Hotel, while completing the arrangements of a martial arts themed cruise this December with partners Princess Cruise Lines and FUJI, GTMA has now been tapped to host the Taekwondo Tournament at the upcoming Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio early next year.
“We are so humbled to have been trusted with the honor of hosting this event” said Jeffrey Nodelman, CEO of GTMA. “We all know how tremendous an opportunity this is for GTMA. To be able to share the same environment as some of the fittest and strongest athletes in the world to show what we have to offer as Taekwondo practitioners is incredible. Not to mention, there isn’t a single martial artist that didn’t at one point dream of being an action star. The chance for our GTMA family members to see and meet some of these living icons is unbelievable.”
GTMA plans on structuring a two day invitational tournament with traditional and extreme events and showcasing its Global Demo performance team.
“We are all excited to partner with such a young and fast growing martial arts organization to join our prestigious sporting event. We look forward to the energy we know they are going to bring” said Jacob Shiplet, Sports Director Arnold Sports Festival.
The Arnold Sports Festival takes place in Columbus, Ohio on February 29-March 3, 2024, and will feature over 12,000 athletes, from over 80 nations, representing over 50 sports.
